Jill & Willie Interview - Interview, Spoken Word -

Jill Kennon is a singer/songwriter/musician/artist and piano technician who in the past has trained and shown horses and worked toward a degree in Animal Science/Horse Production. Jill was part of the Seattle folk scene in the mid 80s-early 90s. She returned to Las Cruces, NM to help coordinate the Peace and Dignity Run, an indigenous spiritual relay that began simultaneously in Alaska and Argentina, meeting in the middle at the pyramids outside Mexico City on Columbus day, 1992.



Willy Runs Above was born and bred in Two Strike community on the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota. He is currently living in Las Cruces, NM, working as a custodian in the public schools. In 1972 he was a star athlete coming in 2nd behind his brother in the Cross Country Championship of South Dakota.
