Join BlackMedina and BZoO HomeGrown Radio in bringing awareness to "World AIDS Day"

World AIDS Day

Join BlackMedina and BZoO HomeGrown Radio in bringing awareness to "World AIDS Day" today December 1st, 2005. World AIDS Day is about people getting the facts about HIV and AIDS. It's a day for people to get involved and there are many ways in which you can do so. Contact your local health organization to find ways you can help.

According to UNAIDS estimates, there are 38 million adults and 2.3 million children living with HIV, and during 2005 some 4.9 million people became newly infected with the virus. Around half of all people who become infected with HIV do so before they are 25 and are killed by AIDS before they are 35.

Put the Virtual Red Ribbon on your website:

Copy and paste the following HTML code into your web pages where you want the Virtual Red Ribbon to appear. Make everyday World AIDS Day until it is brought under control. You can make a difference.

Support STOP AIDS! KeepThe Promise!

Call for Submissions:

BlackMedina, a new online magazine community is currently looking for writers of general (socio-political) editorial, music and art reviews and any other miscelaneous thoughts of genius one might have.

J.Greene, publisher, said, "Last month, we implemented a registration feature on blackmedina.net. This is part of our new objective to create an online community where the registered members are active contributors and authors of the material on the site. So, if you like, you are invited to register and become a member (it will take about 24 hours for your user account to be granted author/editor privileges). Once your user name is resolved, you'll be able to submit items via the user menu on the site. The aim of this is to eventually create a living community online thoughts and ideas are shared and discovered."

Current features include:
