Naked in the storm
by Success33

Naked in the storm I awake
confused, frightened and alone
as if dropped from the sky I wait
naked in the storm

Frightened but eager at what
awaites me I wait peched on stiletto
heels naked in the storm

My body aches in anticipation
of what pleasures you will inflict
upon me as I wait naked in the storm

My face hidden from the unknown as
my bare body embraces the unknown
I wait naked in the storm

My body explodes with bursts of sexual
energy escaping from my fingertips
eager to caress your awaiting man tool

Excited at the thought of you exploding
from the essence of you I wait naked in
the storm

I can feel your essence in the night air
as I sit, watch and wait naked in the storm
perched on stiletto heels

Shawn Princeton ~ Honorable Mention Naked In the Storm Splash Poetry Challenge

Storm Mask
by Shawn

Her lover left her stranded, screaming violated cries
she watches on with pitiful eyes, inside she feels demise.
By the shadows of the dark, the moon shines on her skin
and illuminates the careless slut that masks away the sin.
Prompted by the hurt and pain, fresh within her mind
Her senses come alive again, fears silhouette defined.
With the night so cold, she leans and licks her lips
and tastes the blood of fury from his frantic fists.

Here within the terror, as the wind howls across her face
just the sight of chickens to witness her disgrace.
Silently she breathes her prayers upon the night
and offers up salvation to remove the awful fright.
His tire prints on the soaken ground, brings tears to her eyes
as she gazes hard into the night her breath comes in sighs.
His ruthless manner brought mistrust and stole away her grace
and takes her oh so far away to escape without a trace.

Why Fair Trade And Organic Coffee Is Better For You, The Grower And The Environment. Prelude

Fair trade and organic coffee is grown by small coffee farmers that grow organic, shade grown coffee mostly through fair trade coffee cooperatives that help the coffee growers receive fair payment for their efforts. These efforts include growing a better coffee cherry, coffee beans, while paying attention to the environment.

Fair Trade Organic Coffee Helps Humanity and Social Jusitce
Fair Trade coffee beans are organically grown, producing the highest quality taste and aroma. To become Fair Trade certified, an importer must meet stringent international criteriat. Fair Trade for coffee farmers means education, healthcare, environmental stewardship, and community development.

When you purchase and drink fair trade and organic coffee you get a coffee that has a distinct taste and aroma. Like fine wine or a great brewski you can immediate taste the difference. This distinct difference sometimes needs to become appreciated due to the fact the coffee you have been drinking is mostly mass produced and marketed coffee.

But Wait! Just because it says its fair trade or organic coffee doesnt make it good. That coffee, to be sure of proper processing, has to be roasted correctly. It has to be packaged correctly. Lastly, it has to brewed correctly.

Enter the mini or micro coffee roasters. They are a fair trade and organic coffee elite here in the USA. They care to roast and brew the best coffee and they care for the coffee growers and the communities, both locally and the coffee growers communities. You can meet both here www.cooperativecoffee.com .

Another way of assurring yourself that you are drinking the best freshest fair trade and organic coffee is to buy whole bean coffee and grind it at home, all coffee becomes stale in less than two weeks. You grind only what you need for the day or if you are lazy like me for a couple of days. Some coffee lovers will buy green coffee beans and roast the beans, themselves for an even more satisfying organic coffee experience.

I'll be making fair trade and organic coffee a regular addition here at the Zoo. We'll explore the art of buying, roasting, brewing great organic coffee. We will also discover together how fair trade and organic coffee is not only good for you, but is good for the planet and its humanity benefits for all concern.

Won't you join me from some great coffee and conversation?

Would You Like Some Coffee With Your Poetry?

There are two main species of the coffee plant; Arabica is the traditional coffee, and considered superior in flavor. Robusta, which is higher in caffeine, can be cultivated in environments where Arabica will not thrive, leading to its use as an inexpensive substitute for Arabica in many commercial coffee products. Robusta is not usually consumed by itself, due to its bitter and acidic flavor. Higher quality Robustas are used as ingredients in some espresso blends.

Arabica coffees were traditionally named by the port they were exported from, the two oldest being Mocha and Java. The modern coffee trade is much more specific about origin, labeling coffees by country, region, and sometimes even the producing estate. Coffee aficionados may even distinguish auctioned coffees by lot number.

One unusual and very expensive variety of robusta is the Indonesian Kopi Luwak. The beans are collected from the droppings of the Common Palm Civet, whose digestive processes give it a distinctive flavour.

Kopi Luwak are robusta coffee beans which have been eaten by and passed through the digestive tract of the Common Palm Civet. This process takes place on the islands of Sumatra, Java and Sulawesi in the Indonesian Archipelago, as well as the country of Vietnam.

"Kopi" is the Indonesian word for coffee and "Luwak" is local name of this animal which eats the raw red coffee 'cherries' as part of its usual diet. This animal eats a mixed diet of insects, small mammals and fruits along with the softer outer part of the coffee cherry but does not digest the inner beans, instead excreting them still covered in some inner layers of the cherry.

Locals then gather the beans -- which come through the 'animal stage' fairly intact -- and sell them on to dealers. It is believed that enzymes in the stomach of the civet add to the coffee's flavour through fermentation of some type.

The bean is usually given a light roast so as to not destroy the complex flavours which develop through this process.
